Come and hear the gripping story of our guest speaker Susie Flashman Jarvis. Susie became a model at the age of 19, appeared in TV commercials, on the cover of an album and did a lot of work as a page-three girl being used by the Sun newspaper, The Mirror and many magazines. Alongside her ‘public’ image in the world of modelling she lived in a private troubled world and steadily became addicted to Class A drugs. She has a very interesting story explaining how as an ex-model and heroin addict she suddenly came to a place of total ongoing freedom. Susie now works with victims of domestic abuse helping people learn about self-respect and honour. She is an ambassador for ‘Restored’, an international Christian alliance working to end violence against women. She works as an accredited executive coach working alongside many senior leaders in a wide variety of organisations and she is a fully accredited, very experienced counsellor. Susie has authored two books: One is her life-story called ‘Potholes & Belly Flops’ about her journey from page 3 model and former heroin addict to where she is now - and the other is a novel called ‘At Therapy’s End’. She speaks in various settings sharing her story of hope and restoration and has a powerful life-story to tell. Venue: Tamarind Spice, Monday 27th June @ 8pm - there will be a selection choice of set menu's on the night. To book what's App / text 078 4090 4001 or email simon@christchurchewell.com
